Community Consultation,6-8pm Monday 15th of November 2010, Annandale Neighbourhood Centre
Mayor Jamie Parker and Local Councillors Howinson and Kogoy listened to the concerns of about 30 residents of North and South Taylor Street. Detailed plans were presented and concerns were raised about various aspects of the project. At one stage, there was a suggestion to scrap the project, and to just pilot it in Taylor Street South. There was also discussion about when the money (Council/Section 94 Contribution/State Government Grant) would disappear if not spent and diverting it to other projects.

21 September 2010, corner of Parramatta Road and Trafalgar StreetAnnandale Borough 1894 Elections (Local Notes, Picture of the week June 27th, 2008) appears to be 108-112 Trafalgar Street. In the late 19th Century, it was the methodist school hall. This seemed to be the centre of Civic life, Henry Parkes spoke there about federation, and the first meeting of the Annandale Borough was held there. The hall appears to have been demolished and replaced with the Masonic Hall, which still stands on the site, circa 1934. The Annandale Borough Chamber, now the Neighbourhood Centre, in Johnston Street, was opened in 1899.
