Footprints Festival White's Creek Valley has evolved - cycling, bees and textiles were the theme this year.
But it is good to see the ecology of the valley evolving too - nests in verge planting outside the nursery and turtle sightings.
Sydney Water was there with the Urban Water Cycle and there was also Return and Earn. Parramatta River Catchment Group were also there. The Friends of Iron Cove Creek were talking people through the Masterplan. Council also had a Customer Service Stall and also exhibiting and talking Kerbside bins and collection.
Boomerang bags and PedalSetGo Climate-Change Balmain-Rozelle Waste Celebrities mixed with local sustainability veterans.
